Grief Coaching

It is my honor to sit with you in your grief. My goal as a grief coach is to find ways to live a full life that honors, keeps, and recognizes your loss. We are not going to “eliminate” or “escape” your grief, rather we will approach it with tools, compassion, and affirmation. Together, we can build practices, rituals, frames, and more to build a life where no feeling is unmanageable or unmentionable (as Mister Rogers said).

I integrate body-based awareness practices (breathwork, grounding,  movement) and narrative tools  (guided  imagery, metaphor, letter-writing) to facilitate grief processing beyond talk-only formats.

Please reach out any time with questions, or schedule an intake session.

What We Can Do

  • Develop a personal grief inventory – slowly and tenderly taking stock of what’s in the room with your current grief and why it matters.
  • Bring all our senses into our space togther, including our sense of memory. Because most of my sessions are via video, we can create a space together that is open to all you would want to bring to our time.
  • Develop a comfortable, flexible rhythm that works for you. Our time together may include:
    • Opening and grounding methods to breathe, land, and address grief’s complexities.
    • Goal setting, toolbox building, storytelling, ritual making, breathing, letter-writing, playlist creation, important date recognition, and whatever we decide is needed in the moment.
    • Closing and reflecting – takeaways, check-ins, and homework.

Coaching Package Options

Session  packages  that  reflect  different  levels  of  need  and  commitment. We can always check in to adjust as we undertake the work together, but these options can give a sense of where to begin.

Knowing It  Series  (6  sessions): Ideal for clients in early or acute grief needing stabilization, orientation, and foundational coping skills. This series includes  intake, four thematic sessions, and one closing review.

Being With It  Series  (12  sessions): Suited for clients navigating complex  grief. Allows space for narrative integration and personalized practices.

Moving Through It Series (16–20+ sessions):  Best for those facing multiple  losses, trauma-related grief, or entering long-term transformation (e.g., life repurposing, legacy work).

Grief Day Retreat: A 3-to-4-hour intensive session with ritual elements, somatic work, and closure practices. Suitable as a stand-alone or as a threshold/milestone marker.

While my work is generally 1:1 I do offer the option to bring in your circles of care/loved ones who are sharing in your grief in various ways. There will be opportunities to check in about this throughout our process of work together as needed.

My work is done on a sliding scale with opportunities for barter that we can chat about.

Schedule an Intake

We will begin with  a  75–90-minute  intake  session  to get to know each other, clarify our scope of work, and establish goals.
